The series offers six mowers, Z411KW-3-48, Z412KW-48, Z421KW-3-54, Z422KW-54, Z421KWT-3-60 and Z422KWT-60, all sitting on 10-gauge steel and offer a ROPS (Rollover Protection Structure) for extended confidence. You’ll also find that the wide pneumatic caster tires and low-profile rear tires assist you in producing the straightest lines and maintaining balance when operating on slight inclines or hills. So, how does it compare to the durability of the Cub Cadet ZT Series? The ZT Series includes a deck range of 42” to 60” and nine models, the ZT1 42, ZT1 42E, ZT1 46, ZT1 50, ZT1 54, ZT2 50, ZT2 54, ZT2 60 or ZT3 60, each backed by 11-gauge steel, but all are absent of a ROPS. Don’t let the numbers fool you. 10-gauge steel is stronger than 11-gauge and despite all of its external armor, the Kubota Z400 Series’ packs one comfortable experience into the zero turn mowers.
